A how-to tutorial on connecting QuickBooks Desktop version to Treezi app. (Not yet compatible with QB Online.)
1. Login to the web app and go to your company settings in the upper right corner:
2. Click on "Quick Books Desktop Integration:
3. Closely follow the instructions from there. We strongly recommended that you back up your company file before proceeding as well as scheduling regular backups.
How does it work?
The Web Connector will act as a bridge between Treezi and Quick Books. You can set how often the Web Connector will connect to the Treezi server and check for new invoices. When the system connects, it will look for any new invoices from that day that have not been imported yet, and import that data into Quick Books.
The system will first check to see if the Client already exists, if it does not exist in Quick Books, it will be imported as a Customer. Next, the system will attempt check to see if the property already exists, if it does not it will be imported with the Client as the parent customer. Next it will import the invoice as a job to the property customer.
Currently, the connection is 1-way. Meaning, if something is invoiced in treezi, it creates the invoice in QB. If the invoice is Paid in QB, you will have to manually mark the invoice to "Paid" in treezi.
